Government Credibility determines how much faith the population has in their government's abilities to get things done and treat them fairly. Any government that hides things from its people or changes its styles, alliances too much, breaks agreements or does anything else to undermine the public's trust in them will suffer a loss of credibility. Without the support of the populace governments will have a great deal of trouble making and enacting policy. Public morale will drop as well and the pressure for new governments will increase. Though politics, diplomacy or stealth it is wise to keep your credibility as high as possible.
